It has been announced that West End star Haydn Gwynne has sadly passed away aged 66, following a recent cancer diagnosis.

The award-winning performer was forced to pull out of Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends prior to its opening due to ill health.

Gwynne starred in many stage productions including the West End and Broadway productions of Billy Elliot the Musical, The Audience alongside Helen Mirren, and most recently The Great British Bake Off Musical.
