Remembering The Vicar of Dibley’s Trevor Peacock

The Vicar of Dibley star Trevor Peacock has sadly passed away from a dementia-related illness, aged 89.

Peacock is best known for playing Jim Trott in the popular sitcom for 13 years, but was also a respected stage actor.

He worked countless times at the Royal Exchange in Manchester, in both a writing and acting capacity, along with performing in a number of RSC productions, including Henry IV, Parts I and II, Henry V, Sherlock Holmes and The Merry Wives of Windsor during the 1970’s, and their 1988 production of The Wizard of Oz.
