Remembering legendary actor JAMES EARL JONES

It has been announced that Hollywood actor James Earl Jones has sadly passed away at the age of 93.

Providing the iconic voice of Darth Vader in the Star Wars film franchise, Jones starred in dozens of films during his career, also voicing Mufasa in Disney's 1994 film The Lion King.

Jones was one of the few entertainers to have won the EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony awards). He earned Tony Awards for his performances in The Great White Hope in 1969 and Fences in 1987, in addition to a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017.

In the UK, Jones performed in Driving Miss Daisy and Much Ado About Nothing, both alongside Vanessa Redgrave. He also played Big Daddy in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof at the Novello Theatre in the West End.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this difficult time.
