Award-winning lighting designer, Howell Binkley, has sadly passed away following a battle with lung cancer.

Binkley picked up the Tony Award in 2006 for Best Lighting Design of a Musical for Jersey Boys, and later won another Tony for his work on Hamilton in 2016. Lockdown aside, his work can currently be seen on Ain’t Too Proud on Broadway and Come From Away both sides of the pond (a show that he received Tony nomination for).

These productions aside, Binkley worked extensively on Broadway during his longstanding career, where he provided designs for Kiss Of The Spiderwoman, Parade, The Full Monty, Avenue Q, In The Heights, the 2009 revival of West Side Story and the 2011 revival of How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying to name only a few.
