Remembering actor Paul Ritter

Actor Paul Ritter has sadly passed away at the age of 54 from a brain tumour, it has been announced today.

Best known for his recent TV appearances in C4’s Friday Night Dinner, Ritter has also had a successful stage career.

He played John Major in Peter Morgan’s stage production of The Audience, appeared in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, earned himself an Olivier nomination for Coram Boy and starred in the 2016 revival of Art at the Old Vic.

He also received a Tony Award nomination for his role in The Norman Conquests on his Broadway debut.

Our thoughts are with his friends and family at this difficult time.
