Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre has today announced the cancellation of their 2021 run of 101 Dalmatians.

The production was previously scheduled for 2020 before being moved to this year but with continued uncertainty surrounding the pandemic, the venue has been forced to cancel the run for practical and financial reasons.

The musical production has been adapted by Zinnie Harris and features music and lyrics by Douglas Hodge, with direction by Timothy Sheader. Puppetry is designed and directed by Toby Olié, with set and costumes by Katrina Lindsay, choreography by Liam Steel, lighting by Howard Hudson, sound by Nick Lidster for Autograph and musical direction by Tarek Merchant.

Ticketholders will be contacted and refunded, with the hope for a future run in due course.

The venue's planned productions of Romeo and Juliet and Carousel will currently proceed as scheduled.
