Rebecca Frecknall to direct CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF at Almeida Theatre
Rebecca Frecknall’s new production of Tennessee Williams' Pulitzer Prize-winning play Cat on a Hot Tin Roof will play at the Almeida Theatre from 10 December 2024 – 1 February 2025, it has been announced.
Following her Olivier Award-winning production of A Streetcar Named Desire, Almeida Associate Director Frecknall directs BAFTA nominee Kingsley Ben-Adir (Bob Marley: One Love) and Golden Globe nominee Daisy Edgar-Jones (Normal People), alongside Guy Burgess (Desert Poet, The Cockpit), Clare Burt (The Promise, Chichester Festival Theatre), Seb Carrington (Summer and Smoke, Almeida/West End), Derek Hagen (The View Upstairs, Soho Theatre), Lennie James (A Number, The Old Vic), Ukweli Roach (Jesus Hopped the ‘A’ Train, Young Vic), and Ria Zmitrowicz (The Welkin, National Theatre).
