POTUS on Broadway to be filmed for Theatre on Film and Tape Archive

The world premiere of the play POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive will be filmed for the Theatre on Film and Tape Archive at The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts.

Featured in the POTUS cast are Lilli Cooper as Chris, Lea DeLaria as Bernadette, Rachel Dratch as Stephanie, Julianne Hough as Dusty, Suzy Nakamura as Jean, Julie White as Harriet, and Vanessa Williams as Margaret. Also included in the cast are Anita Abdinezhad, Gisela Chípe, Jennifer Fouché, and Lisa Helmi Johanson as standbys.

The show will be filmed for the archive at The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, which has been preserving live theatrical productions since 1970, at its 2 August performance at the Shubert Theatre. The production’s limited engagement will end on 14 August.
