The Pleasance Theatre have today announced an exciting season of in-person performances of Fringe favourites and emerging talent that will run alongside the Pleasance’s Edinburgh Programme.

Five of the seven recipients of the Pleasance’s National Partnership Awards will come to the venue for a live run, with digital on demand performances to be announced. Each is made in partnership with a regional theatre. Destiny, supported by the Bristol Old Vic, will run from 2 to 7 August, followed by Look No Hands, supported by Pitlochry Festival Theatre, and It Kinds of Looks Like a Doughnut, supported by Curve Leicester, both running 10 to 14 August.  Moist Moist Moist supported by Theatre Royal Plymouth will run from 17 to 21 August, then Prison Game, supported by HOME Manchester, will be performed from 7 to 11 September. 

Comedy fans will also be well catered for throughout the season with a mixture of stand-up, sketch and improv comedy including performances from Rob Beckett and Milton Jones. Other highlights include Edinburgh Fringe favourites Murder, She Didn’t Write, running 16 to 18 August, and The Importance of Being … Earnest? from 19 to 21 August.
