Phantom anniversary concert replaces Alfie Boe on The Shows Must Go On channel this weekend

Phantom 2011 concert

Marking its 34th anniversary this week, the 25th anniversary concert production of The Phantom of the Opera will be streamed on The Shows Must Go On Youtube channel this weekend, replacing the previously reported Alfie Boe show.

The Phantom of the Opera will be available to watch from 7pm BST on Friday 9 October - this time for 24 hours ONLY. Alfie Boe’s Bring Him Home concert will now be shown next weekend.

The Phantom concert was filmed in 2011 at the Royal Albert Hall, starring Ramin Karimloo in the title role and Sierra Boggess as Christine. It was inspired by Hal Prince and Gillian Lynne’s original staging and directed by Laurence Connor.
