Petula Clark to return to West End production of MARY POPPINS

Best-selling female artist and national treasure Petula Clark will rejoin the West End cast of Mary Poppins when performances resume on 7 August 2021.

Clark will reprise her role as the Bird Woman, alongside Zizi Strallen in the title role and Charlie Stemp as Bert.

Co-directed by Richard Eyre and Matthew Bourne and co-choreographed by Bourne and Stephen Mear, the hit musical (based on PL Travers stories) has set and costume design by Bob Crowley, with lighting by Hugh Vanstone and sound by Paul Gatehouse.

The stage show has a book by Julian Fellowes, with original music and lyrics by the Sherman Brothers, additional songs by Stiles and Drewe, and orchestrations by William David Brohn.
