Patrick Dempsey to reprise his role in Enchanted sequel

In an interview with Good Morning America, Patrick Dempsey has confirmed his return to the sequel of hit 2007 film, Enchanted, as Robert Philip.

Titled Disenchanted, Amy Adams previously announced she would also be reprising her role of Princess Giselle for the new Disney+ original film, which is hoped to begin filming in this Spring. Further casting is to be revealed but it is rumoured that James Marsden will also return as Prince Edward.

The original film features music by the legendary Alan Menken, along with lyrics by the equally brilliant Stephen Schwartz; both of whom will pen new numbers for the sequel, directed by Adam Shankman.

The release date is currently unconfirmed but watch this space, Besties!
