Bristol Old Vic have announced today that Outlier will be available to watch on demand following a triumphant run in both theatre and live broadcast earlier in the month.

The production, which was the latest new work co-produced with Bristol Old Vic Ferment, will be available on demand from 26 July – 8 August.

Outlier is emotional and explores the impact of isolation, addiction, and friendship amongst young people in often forgotten places. The show had a two-week run on Bristol Old Vic’s mainstage from 12-26 June and comprised of Malaika Kegode’s powerful poetry and Bristol band Jakabol’s soaring music.

The collaboration of Kegode and Jakabol fuses together words and music to give a theatrical experience which finds the epic in the ordinary and magic of every day.

The production was directed by Jenny Davies and designed by Rebecca Wood. Joe Price designed the lighting with Christopher Harrisson as animation and projection designer.

On demand rentals go on sale from 30 June at 3pm and it is priced at £8 for an unlimited rental. To purchase, please click here.
