Opening season announced at Manchester’s DriveINSIDE Theatre

Manchester’s DriveINSIDE Theatre has unveiled its debut season, which will run four weeks beginning on 13 May.

The 68,000 square feet indoor marquee in Manchester’s Trafford Centre will host thirty productions for up to 24,000 theatre-goers to enjoy from the comfort of their cars, with “waiter to bonnet” service, encompassing new musicals, family shows and cabaret.

There will be a chance for audiences to get a sneak preview of not one, but two new musicals. WhiteWitch is an immersive rock opera, narrated by Brian Blessed and starring homegrown talent Victor Michael, Hayley Maria, Phil Gault, Maria Nielsen and Andy Quinn.

The second musical, Fallen Angel, features Naomi Stirrat and Callum Hughes, and has been created by award-winning composers Sara Eker and Giles Fernando.

Families can enjoy stagings of West End and Broadway favourites, an immersive experience Wonderland, or a sing-a-long at Can’t Stop The Feeling. Other music offerings pay tribute to 90’s nostalgia, Queen, Tina Turner and ABBA.

For the adults, there are exclusive events including a cabaret from La Voix and an “immersive Rocky” experience.
