Open casting call issued for Nessarose in WICKED film

An open casting call has been issued for the role of Nessarose in the eagerly anticipated Wicked film, who will appear alongside the previously announced Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Ariana Grande as Glinda.

Casting agency The Telsey Office are looking for a “female 18-30 performer of any ethnicity” and "actors who are wheelchair users (ambulatory and non-ambulatory) are strongly encouraged to submit for the role".

Those interested should send an unlisted Youtube video to wickedfilmcasting@gmail.com where the applicant should describe themselves and their passions.

Rehearsals for the film, directed by Jon M Chu, are set to commence in the UK in summer 2022.
