Online casting call announced to find The Theatre Channel’s new Café Four
The Theatre Channel have launched an online casting call this week to find four talents to become their new resident ensemble company, The Café Four.
They require four incredible, triple-threat performers with playing ages from 18 to early 30s, who will appear in the next five episodes of The Theatre Channel.
They are accepting submissions for two male and two female performers, with self-identifying males and females, non-binary performers and all ethnicities and backgrounds warmly welcomed to apply.
The roles require a mix of legitimate musical theatre experience and contemporary vocals, and/or professional training in acting, singing and dance. Excellent vocal skills that can be integrated as part of an ensemble, as well as comedic instincts would be ideal.
So for all of the funny, friendly, talented singers and dancers out there; despite the uncertain times, it’s your time to shine!
All candidates should submit two recordings - a one-minute excerpt self-tape with a musical theatre song to demonstrate their vocal ability, plus a showreel demonstrating their dance skills.
The chosen applicants must be available mid-March to mid-July 2021 for filming, which takes place at The Theatre Café, St Martins Lane, and the West End.
Submissions, complete with a CV, should be sent to info@adamblanshay.com. Any queries must also be sent to this email.
The deadline for submissions is 6pm GMT on Tuesday 9 March 2021.
