Off-Broadway's BETWEEN THE LINES announces initial casting & creative team

Initial casting has been announced for the new Off-Broadway musical Between The Lines, which commences performances at the Tony Kiser Theater from 14 June.

The production will star Arielle Jacobs (AladdinWicked), Jake David Smith (Frozen), Vicki Lewis (Anastasia, Damn Yankees), Will Burton (Kiss Me, Kate; Hello, Dolly!), Jerusha Cavazos (The Prom), Pierre Marais (Aladdin), John Rapson (Les Misérables) and Julia Murney (Wicked, The Wild Party). Further casting is to be announced.

Based on the novel by international bestselling author Jodi Picoult and Samantha van Leer, the show has direction by two-time Tony Award nominee Jeff Calhoun, choreography by Paul McGill, a book by Timothy Allen McDonald and music & lyrics by Elyssa Samsel & Kate Anderson in their New York theatre debuts.

The new musical features set design by Tony Award nominee Tobin Ost, costumes by two-time Tony Award winner Gregg Barnes, lighting by Drama Desk Award nominee Jason Lyons, sound by Ken Travis, projection by Daniel Brodie, orchestrations & arrangements by Tony Award nominee Gregory Rassen and musical direction by Daniel Green.

Between The Lines is an empowering and enchanting new musical for anyone who has ever sought to find their place in the world. An outsider in a new town and a new school, Delilah seeks comfort in the pages of her favorite book, where she feels heard and understood by the handsome Prince Oliver. But as the lines between fantasy and reality begin to blur in both extraordinary and astonishing ways, Delilah discovers how to find her place in the real world while keeping her dreams alive.
