Nuffield Southampton Theatres’ city venue taken over with aim to re-open in Spring 2021

Following their entry into administration earlier this year, it has been announced that the Nuffield Southampton Theatres’ city venue has been taken over and hopes to welcome back visitors in Spring 2021 under a new name.

Mayflower Academy Limited - part of The Mayflower Theatre Trust - have taken on the lease of the multi-purpose venue, which includes a 450-seat theatre to be renamed MAST (Mayflower Studios).

The takeover was approved earlier this week by Southampton City Council.
