Nimax Theatres confirm they will not reopen their six West End venues in sequence as planned

Nimax Theatres have confirmed that the reopening of its six West End venues in sequence will not go ahead as originally planned, in light of the looming national four-week lockdown.

In a statement released today, they said: “Despite our best efforts to bring live entertainment back to the West End, following the government announcement on Saturday October 31, our theatres will close from Thursday, November 5 until Wednesday, December 2. We will be in touch with ticket holders for all affected shows in due course. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.”

Adam Kay: This Is Going To Hurt is currently running at the Apollo Theatre. This will continue until 4 November, when it will then close.

Shows that will not be able to go ahead as planned include: The Show Must Go On Live, Six, Private Peaceful, An Evening with Kathy Burke, An Evening with Jennifer Saunders and Showstopper! The Improvised Musical.
