NHS THE MUSICAL to play at Theatre Royal Plymouth in September 2021

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Nick Stimson and Jimmy Jewell’s NHS the Musical is set to play at the Theatre Royal Plymouth for a limited run from 17-25 September, with plans to tour in 2022.

Directed by Stephen Fletcher, the musical comedy premiered in Plymouth in 2006 so has its history embedded in the city.

The National Health Service is the envy of the world and we need it, now more than ever before. It’s the pride of the nation, providing care for all from cradle to grave since 1948.

NHS The Musical gets under its skin, celebrating the people who make its heart beat. Sharper than a scalpel, this fast-paced comedy show takes you from the surgical theatre to musical theatre, pumping with songs, satire, sass – and gas and air. But beware! This beloved institution may be the perfect tonic, but it can also be the bitterest pill. The UK’s largest employer and government’s biggest spender has its own ailments, that just never seem to be cured.
