New Wimbledon Theatre announces 2022 Spring Studio season

The New Wimbledon Theatre have today announced the Spring season for their studio space, which includes the previously mentioned Outlander’s John Bell making his stage debut in The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me.

Off-Broadway hit The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me by David Drake will play at the 80-seat venue from 3-26 February 2022, telling the story of a young gay actor and his call to activism in New York during the onset of HIV/AIDS in the 1980’s.

Ladykiller follows, presented by The Thelmas, running on 17 & 18 March 2022; a blood-soaked morality tale about victimhood and power, which follows one woman’s journey from oppression to revolution.

The Dyer’s Hand Season follows with Holst and Payne, two interlocking plays told on alternating nights by a single cast. The Music in The Spheres tells the tale of great composer Gustav Holst as he champions arts for all, with The Stars are Fire picking up the story five years later with one of Holst’s most brilliant students Cecilia Payne.
