New trailer drops for GENIUS: ARETHA series starring Cynthia Erivo

A new trailer has been released for limited TV series Genius: Aretha, starring Tony Award winner Cynthia Erivo.

Debuting in the US on National Geographic over four consecutive nights from 21 March at 9pm EST, this news is greatly received as the series was originally due to air in May 2020 but was unfortunately delayed due to the pandemic.

Directed by Anthony Hemingway, Genius: Aretha celebrates Franklin's musical genius, legacy, and lasting influence, and brings her story to life on screen.

Appearing alongside Erivo is Malcolm Barrett, David Cross, Patrice Covington, Omar J. Dorsey, Kimberly Hébert Gregory, Rebecca Naomi Jones, Steven Norfleet, Marque Richardson, Courtney B. Vance, Sanai Victoria and Pauletta Washington.
