New show based on Pavarotti in the works with sights on the West End

A new stage show is in development about the life of the late, great tenor Luciano Pavarotti, with an aim to open in the West End in 2023.

The piece will be directed by Michael Gracey after the rights were granted by Pavarotti’s family. The creatives have also been given access to the singer’s fan mail, which will aid in telling his story through real correspondence with fans.

New software from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology is being used to isolate Pavarotti's voice from recordings of his performances, with no instrumental accompaniment.

The production's live singers will then recreate the accompaniment, singing arrangements that will simulate the many sounds of an orchestra.

Sounds intriguing, Besties!
