New musical CASES returns with new album release after cancelled run in 2020

Cases

Following sell-out performances at the Phoenix Arts Club and a planned run at The Other Palace, which sadly didn’t come to fruition due to Covid-19, new musical Cases is being released as a full album on 12 February.

Cases explores unforeseen circumstances and unexpected crises inspired by journeys and careers within the arts and entertainment industry. Four artists experience the heartbreaks, sacrifices and triumphs during their pursuit of pure artistry as they balance fame with obscurity and try to establish a career amidst the prospect of financial instability; something that will resonate with many performers in the current climate.

Written by Dominic Powell, the album is produced by Pioneer Arts; an events and production company producing innovative original theatre, film and television for both commercial and community sectors, founded by Powell in 2012.

The Cases studio album features a new West End cast including Olivier Award nominee Maiya Quansah-Breed (Six, Rent), Bobbie Little (High Fidelity, Mamma Mia!), Andrew Patrick-Walker (Brooklyn – The Musical, Bat out of Hell) and Waylon Jacobs (Hamilton, Memphis).

The release date marks the 4th anniversary of the show’s premiere at the Phoenix Arts Club and is available to pre-order now here.
