A brand new documentary focussing on the efforts to put shows on during the pandemic is currently in post-production stages.

Filmed in the UK, US and Korea, the programme (named The Show Must Go On) looks at Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera and Cats, the latter of which was successfully staged in South Korea.

Co-directed by Broadway producer Dori Berinstein and Sammi Cannold, the documentary looks at how Korea were able to put on shows throughout the pandemic with no evidence of viral transmission, whilst Lloyd Webber struggled to reopen his productions in the UK.

A broadcast date is yet to be announced.
