New company TellTale Theatre announce physical performance piece ADRIFT

Adrift

Brand new theatre company TellTale Theatre have announced Adrift, their upcoming physical theatre performance, running at The Etcetera Theatre in Camden from 29 June-4 July.

Adrift follows Lila, a Martian by birth, as she travels to a newly-discovered planet to find her parents and the truth about her abandonment.

TellTale Theatre invite you along on this imaginative and colourful adventure, as Lila goes on a journey of self-discovery. What unfolds is a poignant story about the effects of greed and ambition, as the audience discover this planet’s value to the future of the human race.

Founded in April 2020 by Mariella Oakes, this is a company devoted to exploring physical theatre and new stories. Originally formed from own experiences of isolation, loneliness and fear when being faced by an unprecedented situation, what blossomed was a show idea to bring together movement, physical theatre, music, and other creative aspects to transport the audience to a different world. The main goal of the company is to encourage younger audiences to be inspired by physical theatre, showing them the scope of production that can be achieved through imagination and physicality, inspiring them to pursue ideas creatively.
