New casting announced for West End production of & JULIET

New casting has been announced for the West End production of & Juliet, including Tom Francis (Rent, What’s New Pussycat?) who will take over the role of Romeo from 29 March.

Other new cast members include Julius D'Silva (Made In Dagenham) as Lance and the previously announced Keala Settle as Nurse.

New ensemble members includes Ebony Clarke, Bessy Ewa, Collette Guitart, Cassandra Lee, Nathan Louis-Fernand, Zara Macintosh, Carl Man, Christian Maynard, Rachel Moran, Owen Saward, Aaron Shales, Benjamin Terry and Suki Wong, who join Ivan De Freitas, Rhian Duncan, Alex Tranter, Sophie Usher and Rhys Wilkinson who continue with the show.

Miriam-Teak Lee leads a cast including Cassidy Janson as Anne Hathaway, Oliver Tompsett as William Shakespeare, Tim Mahendran as Francois and Alex Thomas-Smith as May.

David Bedella continues his Olivier Award-winning performance as Lance until Saturday 26 March, as does Jordan Luke Gage as Romeo and Melanie La Barrie as Nurse.

Directed by Luke Sheppard, the musical features choreography by Jennifer Weber, set design by Soutra Gilmour, costumes by Paloma Young, musical supervision, orchestrations and arrangements by Bill Sherman, lighting by Howard Hudson, sound by Gareth Owen, video by Andrzej Goulding, and musical direction and additional arrangements by Dominic Fallacaro.
