New cast and extension announced for Agatha Christie's WITNESS FOR THE PROSECUTION

New casting has been announced for Agatha Christie’s Witness for the Prosecution as the acclaimed production extends its run at London County Hall until 30 March 2025, taking the show into its eight year.

From 19 March, the new cast will include George Jones (The Mousetrap, West End) as the accused Leonard Vole, opposite Meghan Treadway (Cinderella, Lyric Hammersmith) as Romaine Vole, Oliver Boot (The Mirror Crack’d, UK tour) as Sir Wilfrid Robarts QC, Ewen Cummins (The Book of Mormon, UK/European tour) as Mr Mayhew, David Killick (The Importance of Being Earnest, Tour/West End) as Mr Justice Wainwright, and Gyuri Sarossy (Operation Epsilon, Southwark Playhouse) as Mr Myers QC.

The company is completed by Alexandra Barredo, Nicholas Chambers, Nicholas Cowell, Rhîan Crowley-McLean, Luke Harrison, Lawrence Haynes, Antony Jardine, Lara Lemon, Patrick Munday, Callum Ravden, Veronica Roberts and Paulo Vieira.

Since 2017, Agatha Christie’s Witness for the Prosecution at London County Hall has captured the imagination of audiences gripped by the case of Leonard Vole, accused of murder in cold blood. Director Lucy Bailey thrillingly places the audience in the thick of the action as Christie’s enthralling tale of justice, passion and betrayal unfolds around them.

The twists and turns of the case are played out in a spectacular courtroom setting inside the atmospheric London County Hall as prosecution battles defence and witnesses take the stand to give their shocking testimonies.

The production is designed by William Dudley, with lighting by Chris Davey, sound by Mic Pool, and casting by Ellie Collyer-Bristow CDG.
