David Eldridge’s critically acclaimed play Beginning will embark on a UK in September 2021.

Producers had initially planned a tour in Autumn 2020 but it will now open at Queens Theatre Hornchurch, running from 3-18 September before visiting other venues across the UK.

The play, directed by Polly Findlay, originally enjoyed a successful run at the National’s Dorfman Theatre in 2017 before transferring to the Ambassadors Theatre in the West End the following year. It tells the story of two strangers drawn to one another early in the morning after a house party.

Casting and touring venues will be announced in due course.

Tickets for the Hornchurch run can be purchased here.
