The National Theatre is providing a range of digital resources to support teachers and young people across the UK this year, fulfilling its commitment to learning opportunities in 2021.

Currently online are full length productions available to stream, technical theatre resources, a playwriting course and the annual Drama Teacher Conference.

Thirty of the venue’s world-class productions, including Jane Eyre and Small Island, form the National Theatre Collection, which is free for state schools and FE colleges across the UK to access. To accompany the content, there are also introductory teaching packs, lesson plans and behind-the-scenes content available.

Other academic institutions can also access the digital library following a one-time payment for the full collection or an annual subscription.
