Nardia Ruth makes professional debut as Nefertari in THE PRINCE OF EGYPT
It has been announced that Nardia Ruth will join the West End production of The Prince of Egypt as Nefertari from Friday 17 September in her professional debut.
The production is set to resume performances tomorrow (12 August 2021) following its recent suspension due to UK Government Track and Trace legislation.
The Prince of Egypt has been one of the top two best-selling shows in this year’s Kids Week event, with an incredible 8500+ tickets sold to date. Nardia Ruth is a 2021 graduate of London’s Royal Academy of Music and a Disney Theatrical Productions Scholar and an Ian Fleming Musical Theatre Award recipient. The role of Nefertari in The Prince of Egypt will mark Nardia’s professional and West End debut.

The Prince of Egypt has music and lyrics by the multi award-winning Stephen Schwartz, a book by Philip LaZebnik and features 10 new songs written by Stephen Schwartz, together with five of his beloved songs from the DreamWorks Animation film (‘When You Believe’, ‘Deliver Us’, ‘All I Ever Wanted’, ‘Through Heaven’s Eyes’ and ‘The Plagues’).
The musical is directed by Scott Schwartz, with choreography by Sean Cheesman, set design by Kevin Depinet, costumes by Ann Hould-Ward, lighting by Mike Billings, sound by Gareth Owen; projection by Jon Driscoll; illusions by Chris Fisher, orchestrations by August Eriksmoen, musical supervision and arrangements by Dominick Amendum, and musical direction by Dave Rose.
