Musical theatre icon announces 2021 dates for intimate tour

Her 2020 UK tour was yet another casualty of the Covid-19 crisis but Ruthie’s back, besties!

One of the first lady’s of musical theatre, Ruthie Henshall, has rescheduled her intimate UK tour, In My Life, to new dates in 2021. But there are only four cities where you can catch her so get planning your routes now!

Henshall is a multi-award winning West End & Broadway performer, who has starred in some of the most popular musicals of the last three decades including Les Miserables, She Loves Me, Peggy Sue Got Married, Crazy For You, Chicago and Marguerite to name only a few.

Originally premiering in Sydney where it received rave reviews in June 2019, In My Life will now play at the following UK venues in 2021: Curve, Leicester (12 &13 March), The Helix, Dublin (16 March), Cadogan Hall, London (19 March) and The Lowry, Salford Quays (25 March).

This tour will allow fans to get up close and personal with the star and revisit personal highlights from her illustrious career thus far. She will also perform numbers by some of the influential artists who have shaped her career along the way.

Henshall said: “When theatre opens again, I will literally dance in the street! It’s so sad because when things are scary and sad, the theatre is always a pick-me-up and we have not been able to do that. The theatre opening again is something I can’t wait for. It is my breath. To perform and to watch, it gives me something nothing else does. I am thrilled to be doing this tour and having not performed for a while, I will have even more to give!  It’s a very personal show that Is about life, loves and shows and it’s got a whole lot of heart. There’ll be stories to tell, songs to sing, I cannot wait to share this show with you and be back in a theatre.”
