Musical theatre charity concert for endometriosis announced

Starbuck Theatre Company will present a one night only charity concert, NO LONGER SPEECHLESS…we are the 1in10, to raise money for endometriosis services at Drotwich’s Norbury Theatre on 19 March.

March is Endometriosis Awareness Month and Starbuck Theatre Company aim to both raise awareness of this debilitating condition and vital funds for endometriosis services in Worcestershire through this concert.

In March 2021, 10 women joined forces and voices virtually to release the song 'Speechless' for the #1in10 movement, highlighting that 1 in 10 women and those that menstruate suffer from endometriosis, but now these 10 women are coming together in person to raise funds as well as awareness.

This is an evening to celebrate the strength of women. A musical theatre concert to bring joy and hope, performed by professional singers from the Midlands, to show that women are no longer speechless, their voices will be heard, so that hopefully, going forward, endometriosis sufferers can get the treatment they need and will know they are not alone and will not have to suffer in silence.

Tickets for this event can be purchased here or if you can't make the event but would still like to donate you can here.

More information on the concert can be seen on Facebook and instagram @StarbuckTheatre

They would also love to have a montage of pictures in the event, of as many women and those that menstrate as possible who suffer from endometriosis, holding a sign saying 'I am the 1in 10', ideally, but not a necessity, also wearing something yellow (the colour for endometriosis awareness).

If this is something you'd like to be involved in, please email your pictures to starbucktheatrecompany@gmail.com
