Jamie Muscato joins all-star cast for staged workshop performances of WINGHAVEN PARK

West End star Jamie Muscato (Moulin Rouge!, West End) has joined the 16-strong cast for three staged workshop performances in London of the new American musical, Winghaven Park, on 25 & 26 September.

Jamie will co-star as Rev. James ‘Jim’ Lock alongside the previously announced four times Olivier Award nominee Summer Strallen, Victoria Hamilton-Barritt, Ryan Anderson, Charlotte Kennedy, and Anton Stephans.

A further nine additional cast members have also been announced today: Lloyd Notice (The Lion King), Keisha Amponsa Banson (Girl From the North Country), Alastair Parker (A Christmas Carol, Old Vic), Julie Jupp (A Christmas Carol, Old Vic), Simon Anthony (Guys & Dolls, Bridge Theatre), Kris Manuel (Mary Poppins), Christopher Erasmus (Beauty and the Beast), and Maisie Mardle (Matilda).

During the tensions and uncertainties of World War II America, Hollywood movie star Vera Webster (Summer Strallen) returns to Vashon Island and her childhood home, Winghaven Park, during a national fundraising tour to sell war bonds to the public. Her three-day stay turns into a journey of self discovery as she navigates an estranged sister, buried family secrets and rekindles a long-lost love with her high school sweetheart.

The staged workshops are directed by Gabriel Barre, with musical supervision by Paul Schofield , set design by Justin Williams, costumes by Reuben Speed, lighting by Toby Darvill, sound by Dan Samson, choreography by George Lyons, and casting by Harry Blumenau CDG CDA.
