MOULIN ROUGE! THE MUSICAL to perform on BGT and extends until January 2023

It has been announced that the hit West End stage production of Moulin Rouge! The Musical will appear live on Britain's Got Talent on Monday night (30 May) to perform the Act Two opening number ‘Backstage Romance’.

The production has also extended its booking period at the Piccadilly Theatre until 7 January 2023.

The West End production is led by Liisi LaFontaine as Satine, Jamie Bogyo as Christian, Clive Carter as Harold Zidler, Simon Bailey as The Duke, Jason Pennycooke as Toulouse-Lautrec, and and Elia Lo Tauro as Santiago.

The ‘Lady Ms' are played by Sophie Carmen Jones as Nini, Zoe Birkett as Arabia, Jonny Bishop as Baby Doll and Timmika Ramsay as La Chocolat.

Completing the cast are Femi Akinfolarin, Robson Broad, Ian Carlyle, Jonathan Cordin, Anthony Cragg, Katie Ella Dunsden, Adam Gillian, Luke Jackson, Alicia Mencía, Ciro Lourencio Meulens, Georgia Morgan, Melissa Nettleford, Ian Oswald, Craig Ryder, Tinovimbanashe Sibanda, Katie Singh, Ope Sowande, Tanisha Spring, Toyan Thomas-Browne, Amy Thornton, Misty May Tindall, Jon Tsouras, Tommy Wade-Smith and Lily Wang.

Moulin Rouge! The Musical has a book by John Logan, with direction by Alex Timbers, choreography by Sonya Tayeh, music supervision, orchestrations, and arrangements by Justin Levine, set design by Derek McLane, costumes by Catherine Zuber, lighting by Justin Townsend, and sound by Peter Hylenski.
