The Mercury Theatre Colchester have announced full casting for Sirens by award-winning playwright Kenny Emson, which launches the Mercury Originals programme, from 28 October-6 November.

Directed by Bethany Pitts, the cast includes Jesse Akele (There Are No Beginnings, Leeds Playhouse) as Isla, Simon Darwen (Beginning, Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch/Theatre Royal Bath/National Theatre) as Rory and Tanya-Loretta Dee (One Life Stand, MiddleChild Theatre) as Gemma.

Sirens is co-designed by Zoe Hurwitz and Cara Evans, with lighting by Kathrine Sandys and sound by Frazer Merrick.
