MARY POPPINS & THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA to reduce weekly performance schedule

It has been announced today that the West End productions of Mary Poppins and The Phantom of the Opera will temporarily be reducing their weekly schedule to six performances a week, in response to the rising case numbers of the Omicron variant.

Both productions usually perform eight shows a week, however, Phantom will be halting their Monday evening performances from 10-31 January and Thursday matinee performances from 13 January-10 February; whilst Mary Poppins will cancel Monday evening and Thursday matinee shows from 10 January-10 February.

The decision has been taken due to dwindling audience numbers, a larger number of people working from home and the ongoing cast/crew absences due to having to self isolate.

Affected bookers will be offered the chance to exchange their tickets, receive a credit voucher or receive a refund.
