MARIO: A SUPER MUSICAL! to play at Camden Fringe this summer

After several years of development, Mario: A Super Musical! will play at The Cockpit Theatre as part of The Camden Fringe on 9 & 10 August.

Produced by Transfer Productions, which itself was formed by three Mountview musical theatre graduates, the new piece of writing is described as a charming, wacky parody that celebrates the wonderful world of Super Mario. Iconic characters from these timeless games will come to life in full musical glory as Mario’s sidekicks join together on a unique adventure storyline, accompanied by an electrifying original score.

Mario: A Super Musical has a book and lyrics by Jim Burrows, music by Winston Eade, direction by Ellie Coote and musical direction by Laurence Stannard.
