MAMMA MIA! THE PARTY extends booking period to October 2022
Mamma Mia! The Party has extended its booking period at the O2 due to extraordinary demand, with the premier dining experience now playing until 2 October 2022.
Set in a Greek taverna on the beautiful island of Skopelos where the exteriors for the Mamma Mia films were shot, audiences enjoy a gourmet Greek meal accompanied by the music of ABBA and culminating in a 1970’s disco for audience members to sing and dance to.
Food and drink is at the heart of the four-course feast provided with a traditional meze, followed by a Greek salad of cherry tomatoes, cucumber and feta. This is followed by the main course of confit lamb shoulder and slow-cooked beef with roasted garlic potatoes, courgette peperonata, romesco and aromatic jus. An alternative vegan and vegetarian option of roasted cauliflower with a lemob-herb dressing with stuffed tomato and lentil ragout. A delightful lemon cake with confit orange skin and citrus yoghurt is served for dessert, with the traditional loukoumades for vegan guests.
The brainchild of ABBA’s Björn Ulvaeus, the show features Fed Zanni as Nikos the taverna owner and Steph Parry as Kate his wife, with Linda John Pierre as Debbie, AJ Bentley as Adam, Julia Imbach as Kostantina, Allie Ho Chee as Bella, Kimberley Powell as Nina, Dawn Spence as Grandma and Gregor Stewart as Fernando.
Completing the cast are Oscar Balmaseda, Jonathon Bentley, Molly Cleere and Jessica Spalis. The musicians are John Donovan, Luke Higgins, Kathryn Tindall, Steve Rushton and Mark Pusey.
The story for the show is provided by Calle Norlén, Roine Söderlundh and Björn Ulvaeus, with the English book by writer, comedian and broadcaster Sandi Toksvig.
