MAGIC MIKE LIVE 2022 UK arena tour announced

Magic Mike Live

Currently playing at the Hippodrome Casino in London from 21 May to December 2021, a Magic Mike UK arena tour will be hitting the road next year, it has been announced today.

The arena tour will open in Belfast on 6 May 2022, followed by dates in Glasgow, Aberdeen, Leeds, Sheffield, Newcastle, Nottingham, Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool.

Based on the unforgettable namesake film series, the creative team behind the show wanted to share a different experience with audiences after a difficult year for everyone.

Co-director Alison Faulk said: "This is not Magic Mike Live with more seats. Our arena tour is something totally different. After a year of isolation and frustration, we want to give men and women something that makes them feel alive again… a sort of celebratory revival that makes them want to stand on their chairs, dance with their friends and feel connected to each other. The show is a once-in-a-lifetime celebration of togetherness, sexuality and freedom that only an arena can hold. We want our guys to give our fans the best night of their lives with a party they'll never forget."

Audiences can expect acrobatics, dance and more, with giant screens and visual effects.

Conceived/co-directed by Channing Tatum and produced by Vincent Marini, the show is choreographed by Alison Faulk, Teresa Espinosa and Luke Broadlick. The creative team consists of scenic designers Rob Bissinger and Anita LaScala from Arda Studio, costume designer Marina Toybina, lighting and video designers Philip Gladwell and Luke Halls, musical supervisor and composer Jack Rayner, sound designer Nick Kourtides, and aerial choreographer & aerial apparatus designer Dreya Weber.

Tickets for the UK arena tour are available tomorrow here  and tickets to the London show are available here now.
