It has been announced that Luke Evans, who impressed in the role of Gaston in Disney’s live-action Beauty and the Beast, will play The Coachman in the upcoming live-action remake of Pinocchio, alongside Tom Hanks in the role of Geppetto.

Pinocchio tells the story of a living puppet who must prove that he is worthy of becoming a real boy with the help of a cricket as his conscience.
