Line-up announced for BBC’s BIG NIGHT OF MUSICALS TV broadcast

Further information has been announced ahead of the TV broadcast of the National Lottery’s Big Night of Musicals event, which will be shown on BBC One tomorrow night (25 March) at 7.50pm.

Filmed at Manchester's AO Arena last month, the concert will feature performances from West End and UK touring stage productions and will run at 90-minutes.

Hosted by Jason Manford, the evening will include performances from Brenda Edwards and the cast of We Will Rock You, a medley from Matilda the Musical featuring Lauren Byrne and cast, Helen George and Darren Lee performing ‘Shall We Dance’ from The King and I, the Queens from Six perform ‘Haus of Holbein’ and ‘Six’, Nathania Ong performs ‘On My Own’ from Les Misérables, Antony Lawrence, Joanne Clifton and Brandon Lee Sears perform ‘I'm A Believer’ from the upcoming Shrek the Musical UK tour, Bronté Barbé and the cast of Newsies perform ‘King of New York’, Melody Thornton performs ‘I Will Always Love You’ from The Bodyguard, the cast of Ain't Too Proud perform a medley ahead of their West End opening, Laura Pick performs ‘Defying Gravity’ from Wicked, the cast of Hamilton perform ‘My Shot’, Michael Ball performs ‘Love Changes Everything’ from Aspects of Love, and he cast of Mamma Mia! perform ‘Mamma Mia’/’Dancing Queen’.

Jason Manford, Flash Musicals and Pendleton Choir also perform ‘From Now On’ from The Greatest Showman, plus there will be a special behind-the-scenes look at Heathers the Musical and an appearance from Andrew Lloyd Webber.
