Nigel Lindsay and Hammed Animashaun to join cast of KISS ME, KATE at Barbican

Further casting has been revealed for the revival of Kiss Me, Kate, which plays at the Barbican Theatre from 4 June-14 September.

Joining the previously announced Adrian Dunbar as Fred Graham/Petruchio, Stephanie J Block as Lilli Vanessi/Katharine, Charlie Stemp as Bill Calhoun/Lucentio and Georgina Onuorah as Lois Lane/Bianca will be Nigel Lindsay (An Enemy of the People, West End) and Hammed Animashaun (A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Bridge Theatre) as the famous gangster duo in the show - First Man and Second Man.

This new production is directed by Bartlett Sher and will feature a 50-strong company including a full-scale orchestra. Anthony Van Laast will choreograph, with set design by Michael Yeargan, costumes by Catherine Zuber, lighting by Donald Holder, sound by Adam Fisher, musical supervision by Stephen Ridley, and casting by Serena Hill.
