Disney has announced that Lin-Manuel Miranda will write the music for the upcoming animated film, Encanto.

The film, scheduled for release in November 2021, follows a magical family living in a magical home in Columbia.

Miranda said he has been working on the piece for three years, which will be directed by Byron Howard and Jared Bush, and co-directed/co-written by Charise Castro.
