Lin-Manuel Miranda and Cynthia Erivo to be honoured by Royal Academy of Music

To recognise their impact on the world of music, Tony Award winners Lin-Manuel Miranda and Cynthia Erivo will be honoured at the Royal Academy of Music in July, marking the 200th anniversary of the conservatory.

Miranda will receive an honorary doctorate and Erivo will be made an honorary member of the well-respected establishment.

Others receiving honours will include actor Patricia Routledge; musical director, pianist, and composer Allyson Devenish; singer Helena Dix; orchestrator and conductor Cliff Masterson; composer and singer Judith Bingham, among others.
