Lead cast announced for AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN UK & Ireland tour

Lead casting has been announced for An Officer and a Gentleman the Musical, which opens at The Alexandra, Birmingham on 23 February 2024 before touring the UK & Ireland.

Luke Baker (Billy Elliot, Curve) will play Zack Mayo, alongside Georgia Lennon (The Osmonds: A New Musical, UK tour) as Paula Pokrifki, Jamal Crawford (Fame, UK tour) as Gunnery Sergeant Emil Foley, Paul French (Grease, West End) as Sid Worley, and Sinead Long (Sylvia, The Old Vic) as Lynette Pomeroy. Further casting is to be announced.

Based on the 1982 film starring Richard Gere, An Officer and a Gentleman the Musical has a book by Douglas Day Stewart & Sharleen Cooper Cohen and will be directed by Artistic Director of Curve, Nikolai Foster, with choreography by Joanna Goodwin.

An Officer and a Gentleman the Musical UK Tour will have set and costume design by Michael Taylor, musical supervision and orchestration by George Dyer, lighting by Ben Cracknell, sound by Tom Marshall, and casting by Debbie O’Brien.
