The move into tier three just before New Year meant that the successful run of Le Navet Bete’s Treasure Island at the Exeter Northcott was cut short but thanks to a joint effort by the Exeter-based company, the venue, Simon’s Video Kitchen and Creative Industries Federation, this swashbuckling adventure is set to be streamed online from 11 January.

The four-man team at Le Navet Bete present this hilarious take on the classic pirate tale, complete with music, ships, games and mermaids. Treasure Island tells the story of young Jim Hawkins who sets out on an adventure after discovering a map, only to find that he has bitten off more than he can chew when he sets sail with Long John Silver and his gang.

We gave this fun and wonderfully crafted show 5 stars when we were lucky enough to see it live last month, so if you are looking for a couple of hours of fun and silliness, you can join in with the adventure on the high seas from the comfort of your own home when the show premieres on YouTube on Monday 11 January at 7pm. It will be available until January 30. Treasure Island is free to watch but donations are encouraged where possible.

You can watch the show from Monday evening here and the trailer from when the show performed in Plymouth can be viewed below:
