Lauren Samuels & Sophie Evans release new duet from debut album

The latest track from Lauren Samuels and Sophie Evans’ debut album Chasing Rainbows, Finding Judy is being released tomorrow (3 December).

Their version of ‘Happy Days/Get Happy’ was made famous by Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand and this single forms just one small part of a stunning album of songs.

Samuels and Evans first found fame on the hit BBC1 show Over the Rainbow, with both ladies making it to the final. They have since gone on to have hugely successful stage careers.

The idea for the project was born out of a desire Lauren & Sophie had not only to collaborate and to celebrate how they met, but also to bring Judy’s music to a new audience - hearing these classic songs performed by younger voices. The album has been beautifully produced by Grammy-nominated producer James McMillan.

The Chasing Rainbows, Finding Judy album is the first release from new label, Alpha Music & Records.

The album includes numbers such as ‘Trolley Song’, ‘Over The Rainbow’, ‘The Man That Got Away’, ‘As Long As He Needs Me’ and many more.
