Kristina Love joins West End cast of TINA - THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL as show extends until September 2023

Kristina Love will join the hit West End production of Tina - The Tina Turner Musical to share the title role with Elesha Paul Moses from 12 October as booking extends at the Aldwych Theatre until 3 September 2023.

Love joins the company with experience of great critical acclaim across the world, previously playing the title role in Hamburg’s first non-English staging of the musical.

Moses’ music industry career spans over 25 years. With such mentorships as Matthew Knowles, and Will.i.am and Tom Jones across her appearance on The Voice, she has written and performed with some incredible artists, recently leading Whitney: Queen Of The Night, Tina: What's Love Got To Do With It and her own successful tour in Denmark. 

Caleb Roberts continues as Ike Turner, with Cordell Mosteller as Raymond Hill, Paula Kay and Charis Alexandra as Zelma and Alline Bullock, Gregory Haney as Richard Bullock, and Irene Myrtle Forrester as Tina’s Grandmother.

Her managers, with and without Ike respectively, are played by Kelly Hampson and George Jennings, with Chris Grahamson as Record Producer Phil Spector and Lyricist Terry Britten, and Joseph Richardson as record company Marketing Manager Erwin Bach. The Ikettes are played by Karis Anderson, Marie Finlayson and Natorii Illidge.

Completing the cast are Megan Armstrong and Vanessa Dumatey, Thomas Sutcliffe, Turrell Barrett-Wallace and Joey James, with swings Lauren Allan, Richard Appiah-Sarpong, Joshua Da Costa, Miles Anthony Daley, Amber Sylvia Edwards, Livvy Evans, Imogen Rose Hart, Jaz Robinson, Brad Veitch, Saran Webb and Samuel J Weir. 

The children’s cast currently comprises of nine year old Isabella Francis, twelve year old Tia Roche and eleven year old Maya Parks, who share the role of Young Anna Mae; ten year old Cece Somolu, eleven year old Kizzy Murrell and ten year old Eden Butcher share the role of Young Alline and nine year old Spencer Salami, Jhobe Duncan and eight year old Cohen March share the role of Young Craig.

Tina - The Tina Turner Musical is directed by Phyllida Lloyd and written by Pulitzer Prize-winner Katori Hall with Frank Ketelaar and Kees Prins. The production has choreography by Anthony van Laast, with set and costume design by Mark Thompson, musical supervision by Nicholas Skilbeck, lighting by Bruno Poet, sound by Nevin Steinberg, projection design by Jeff Sugg and orchestrations by Ethan Popp.
