After the success and recognition of their production of Titanic the Musical last year, The Kings Theatre Southsea have announced that audition applications are now open for the 2023 Easter production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

The show is full of iconic musical numbers by Richard M and Robert B Sherman, with wonderful roles for all ages, dazzling choreography, beautiful costumes, and stunning scenery.

The cast will feature approximately 50 performers including a 12-piece orchestra and two teams of children. The creative team will be led by director Jack Edwards, with musical direction by Andrew Woodford and choreographer Michelle Antrobus.

Adults aged 18 and above and children in school years 5 to 9 are invited to complete the audition application form on the Kings Theatre website here. Rehearsals will take place from 8 January to 10 April with performances from 11-16 April 2023.
